Uğur Emecan is a seasoned astrologer and engineer with a strong academic background and over two decades of experience in Vedic Astrology. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Istanbul Bilgi University. He is fluent in English and German, and has basic proficiency in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian.

Emecan first encountered astrology in 2001 and soon developed a deep interest in Vedic (Indian) Astrology. In 2008, he founded hintastrolojisi.net, one of the first Turkish platforms dedicated to Vedic astrology. In 2009, he established and managed the Vedic Astrology section at yorumcu.com, one of Turkey’s earliest and most prominent astrology websites. He has contributed astrology content to major media platforms such as the Hürriyet Group and mahmure.com, and has provided online consultations through these channels.

In 2010, Emecan collaborated with medical doctors to conduct Turkey’s first scientific research integrating astrology and medicine, focusing on indicators of heart disease and cancer in natal charts.

With a dual career in engineering and software development, Emecan also has extensive experience in customer experience and management, having worked for over 10 years within Koç Holding, one of Turkey’s largest industrial conglomerates.

In 2024, he launched Astrovizyon.com to make astrology services more accessible and to expand his reach to a wider audience. His goal is to offer reliable, insightful, and scientifically informed astrological guidance.
